Adopting my alter ego, (normally reserved for CIF and anti Moonbat patrols at the Grauniad), I mentioned one or two reasons that I disagreed.

As usual in an article such as this, the significant issues challenging the veracity of man made global warming are conveniently ignored. Rather than trying to belittle sceptical people as climate deniers and creationists wielding shivs, perhaps this science editor could investigate some very inconvenient questions that climate scientists seem unable (or unwilling) to answer.
Where is the proof that anthropogenic CO2 emissions have been the cause of most of the claimed warming?
Why are the global temperature datasets manipulated and adjusted without clear documentation as to the reasons?
Why have multiple stations been dropped from the temperature datasets?
Why are the main temperature datasets cross contaminated?
Why have issues such as UHI effect been inadequtely assessed in the temperature analyses?
Why have multiple and serious errors in the IPCC's report all been found to exaggerate the effects of global warming?
Why have the authors of the report, when told of their errors, refused to correct those errors?
Perhaps spending a little of your time understanding just what has been uncovered in these areas in the last few weeks might influence your unquestioning support for scientists who have failed in their duty to the world.
