Climate-related controversies and the outcome of the Copenhagen summit widely regarded as a failure have left a sense of hopelessness in climate policy, says Lord Chris Smith.
The BBC once again rolls out a barrage of alarmist whitewash, this time from Lord Chris Smith, famously Britain's first openly gay MP.
In an eye watering piece, Smith tells us that the glaciers are melting at an accelerating rate and weather patterns around the world are becoming more erratic and more extreme.
Much more unfounded "shock and awe" fill this sad article.
Not a hint that most of these claims are now fully discredited and shown to be based on non peer reviewed claims in the IPCC's AR4.
Not that this does anything to slow the BBC from pushing its warming agenda.
In this article, the BBC is asks us to trust the views of Lord Chris Smith.
Lord Chris Smith has not, as his article clearly demonstrates, understood what has been revealed by the falsifications in the IPCC's AR4, nor has he any understanding of the discrepancies identified in the world temperature datasets which suggest that there has been deliberate manipulation to support a warming bias. His knowledge and understanding of the state of play in the climate debate is woefully outdated.
Certain aspects of his personal life, which do not need elaboration here, lead me to believe that he is not a clear and logical thinker and is not a suitable role model for issues such as AGW.
I'm sorry BBC, but you have no credibility.
The pension fund must be looking seriously depleted.
Let's put another log on the fire shall we?
